The News Cover: The Woman in the Window starring Amy Adams is just one of the new original films hitting Netflix in May. Here's what else is coming to and leaving the streaming platform throughout the month. 

As for other movies... Monster, Oxygen and Army of the Dead, from filmmaker Zack Synder and starring Dave Bautista, all premiere on Netflix in May. l And if you're looking for more action, the superhero show Jupiter's Legacy, the first project to stem from Mark Millar's Netflix deal, also flies onto the platform this month. 

Other new series premiering in May include the limited series Halston, starring Ewan McGregor, and The Upshaws starring Wanda Skyes, Mike Epps, and Kim Fields As for returning shows... series gifting viewers with new episodes in May include The Kominsky Method, Selena the Series, Lucifer, Special, Who Killed Sara? and Master of None. Other titles available to stream on Netflix in May include Back to the Future parts 1, 2 and 3, Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Mystic River, Never Back Down, Notting Hill, Open Season, Scarface, The Lovely Bones, The Sweetest Thing, The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and Zombieland. 

But of course, a new month means we have to say goodbye to some titles. Films leaving Netflix at the end of May include 50 First Dates, Act of Valor, All Dogs Go to Heaven, The Blair Witch Project, Brokeback Mountain, The Help, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Julie & Julia, Milk, Miracle, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Pursuit of Happyness and Soul Surfer.
