Dark chocolate has a lot of nutrients and it is high in calories and sweet as well. If you eat dark chocolate moderately, not a lot, it will give you a lot of health benefits. Let me tell you some. 

Studies have found dark chocolate contains high amount of magnesium. Due to the high magnesium, intake of dark chocolate in high blood pressure would help in reducing and controlling blood pressure. Antioxidants in the body helps to prevent the body from diseases, illnesses, virus etc. 

Dark chocolate contains a lot of antioxidants, so eating dark chocolate help in protecting the body. Many fruits have antioxidant but it is more in dark chocolate. We already know that dark chocolate controls and lowers the blood pressure, hence it is good for the heart. 

Cholestrol may block the arteries which can lead to heart problems. Eating dark chocolate can lower the bad cholesterol and clears blood circulation due to which the heart remains healthy. 

Eating dark chocolate may improve overall brain function and development. Dark chocolate has high levels of minerals and vitamins which are necessary for good, glowing, smooth skin. Dark chocolate also has antioxidants which protect your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun.
