The big thing is about the price, which has been kept in the reach of the people this time. The new iPad Air is available in five colors - Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold, Green and Sky Blue.

The iPad Air Wi-Fi 64GB model is priced at Rs 54,900, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 68,900. The Wi-Fi Cellular 64GB model of iPad Air is priced at Rs 66,900 and 256GB at Rs 80,900. The starting price of iPad Air's Wi-Fi and cellular models in the US is $599 and $729. IPad Air will be supported by the latest Apple Pencil, which will be magnetically attached to the tab. However the user will have to spend $299 separately for the Magic keyboard and Apple pencil. Its sale will start from October.

iPad Air specifications

The iPad Air is designed similar to the earlier iPad Air generation, but the new iPad Air has a larger screen, but it doesn't have a home button. Apple has this time delivered the iPad Air 10.9-inch liquid retina display with a resolution of 2360X1640 pixels. It still has a touch ID fingerprint sensor instead of Face ID cameras. It will come with fully laminated, true tone support and anti reflective coating. It supports the P3 wide colour gamut and Apple's True Tone color adjustment feature.

The new iPad Air comes with an A14 Bionic processor that will be supported by a 5nm chip as well as a 6Core CPU. It promises 40 percent better CPU performance and 30 percent faster graphics than the previous generation. It runs on iPadOS and is offered with updated graphics.

When it comes to the camera, the 12MP camera is on the back of the iPad Air, which comes with a video stabilization feature. The front comes with a 7MP Face Time HD camera for selfies and video conferencing, which comes with HDR support. It will be able to capture videos at 1080 pixels 60 frames a second. When it comes to connectivity, the iPad Air has a USB-C type, which is equipped with 20W charging support. It also supports both Nano and e-SIM, allowing 5Gbps to transfer data.
