Apart from this, the UP administration has also transferred 14 IPS officers. The charge of Noida to Ghaziabad has gone to Kailanidhi Naithani, who was till now SSP of Lucknow. A spokesman of the Home Department said that Superintendent of Police PTS Unnao Shivhari Meena has been made Superintendent of Police Sultanpur while Superintendent of Police Sultanpur Himanshu Kumar has been appointed as Commandant 28th Corps PAC Etawah. SSP Etawah Santosh Kumar Mishra has been made SP Rampur and SP Rampur Ajaypal Sharma has been made SP PTS Unnao. SP Barabanki Akash Tomar has been made SSP Etawah and SP Ghazipur Arvind Chaturvedi has been made SP Barabanki.

The spokesman said that SP Jhansi Om Prakash Singh has been appointed SP Ghazipur, Commandant 24th Battalion PAC Moradabad Muniraj has been posted as SSP Jhansi, Additional Superintendent of Police Kushinagar Gaurav Bhanswal has been appointed as SP Hathras and SP Hathras Siddharth Shankar Meena has been appointed as SP Banda. SP Banda Ganesh Prasad Saha will now be SP Human Rights Lucknow while SSP ATS Lucknow Rajeev Narayan Mishra has been made the Commandant 24th Corps PAC Moradabad. 

The suspension of Vaibhav Krishna, the SSP of Gautam Budh Nagar, is being considered a major action of the government . The government suspended Krishna as soon as a report of a viral video of a chat with a woman came from the Gujarat Forensic Lab. The spokesperson said that the video and chat found correct in the report of Forensic Lab, which Krishna said were fake. Forensic investigation revealed that the video was not 'edited and marched'. It is noteworthy that Krishna himself filed an FIR in connection with the viral video, after which the investigation was handed over to the ADG and IG of Meerut. The IG sent the video to the forensic lab during the investigation. Krishna himself gave the information after holding a press conference and leaked a confidential report sent to the government.

The spokesman said that Krishna was suspended for violating the Officers' Conduct Rules. He said that a departmental inquiry has also been ordered against Vaibhav Krishna. Lucknow's ADG SN Sabat will investigate and submit his report as soon as possible. The spokesman said that all the five IPS officers who came under the charge of charges in the Vaibhav Krishna case have been removed from the districts so that they do not affect the investigation. New officers have been appointed in their place. All have been ordered to join immediately. He informed that a three-member SIT has been formed. 

Senior IPS officer and DG Vigilance Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has been made SIT chief while two members IG STF Amitabh Yash and MD Jal Nigam Vikas Gothalwal have been made. According to the spokesperson, the SIT has been ordered to complete the investigation within fifteen days. Strict action will be taken as soon as the report arrives. State Director General of Police OP Singh has also sought an explanation from Krishna for leaking an alleged confidential letter written to the state government alleging a transfer-posting racket in the police force.

Meanwhile, the spokesman said that in the same case, Diwakar Khare, Director Media, Chief Secretary has also been removed from the post and has been associated with Information and Public Relations Department (Headquarters) / Divisional Office, Lucknow. The case will be investigated by taking departmental disciplinary action against them under the Uttar Pradesh Government Rules (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999, issuing charge sheets.
